2. About Elyssian

Elyssian British Shorthair provides information about our cattery, kitten profiles, waitlist options, and adoption process. Contact details are shown in the site footer and on the Contact page.

3. Website content

Content is for general information. Nothing on the site is an automatic offer of sale.

4. Enquiries & applications

• Submitting a contact, waitlist, or adoption form does not create a contract or guarantee a kitten
• We may decline applications that are not a suitable match
• You confirm information you provide is accurate and that you are 18+

5. Pricing & fees

Published figures (including the $1,100 kitten price, $500 waitlist fee, and $750 reservation fee) describe our standard structure. Binding amounts and payment timing are confirmed in writing. See Pricing.

6. Waitlist, reservation & adoption contracts

Future-litter interest is covered by the Waitlist Agreement. Holding an available kitten is covered by the Reservation Agreement. Go-home is covered by the Adoption Contract. Those documents control if they conflict with this page.

7. Refunds

Waitlist and reservation refund rules are stated in those agreements. After adoption / transfer, all sales are final unless a signed health guarantee expressly says otherwise.

8. Shipping & collection

Travel options and welfare standards are described on our Shipping page. Specific routes, costs, and paperwork are agreed case by case.

9. Intellectual property

Website text, branding, and original photographs belong to Elyssian British Shorthair or their licensors. You may not copy, scrape, or reuse content for commercial purposes without permission. Stock photos remain subject to their licence terms (for example Pexels).

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site (including attempting to breach security, submit abusive content, or automate bulk scraping of kitten data).

11. Disclaimer

Articles and care guides are general education, not veterinary advice. Always consult a qualified veterinary professional for health decisions.

12. Limitation of liability

The website, kitten profiles, articles, and related materials are provided for general information. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• Elyssian British Shorthair, its owner, and representatives are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) this website
• Our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to website use under these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to us through this website in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD $100)
• We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that content will always be complete or current

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the laws of the State of Oklahoma. Kitten placements, fees, refunds, and health guarantees are governed by the signed waitlist, reservation, or adoption documents—not by this page alone.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the website, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. If you access the site from outside Oklahoma, you are responsible for complying with local laws that apply to you.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
